Team Jags - Commuity
On September 29th, 2014 members of Team Jags joined the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center team to present them with a check for $45,001.00 dedicated to cancer research. It was a proud moment for Team Jags whose net proceeds from the 4th Annual Golf & Gala for Ovarian Cancer we donated in the name of cancer research to one of the leading facilities in the United States. Thank you to all of our supportors, donors and sponsors for helping us realize our goals.
Team Jags wants to honor all the mothers who have lost their battle with ovarian cancer this Mother's Day. We would also like to let those mothers who are still fighting that we are here fighting with you.
In the past week members of Team Jags have been out in the community representing their teal ribbons and making an impact. Last week some of our board members and supporters played in the Hoteliers for Charity Golf Tournament. Throughout the tournament we were able to speak to wonderful people about our mission and the HFC even made a sizable donation to The Jags Solanki Memorial Fund for Ovarian Cancer. All the members of Team Jags want to say THANK YOU!
Other members of Team Jags participated in the Revlon Walk Los Angeles helping women fight cancer. This jam packed event had a shotgun start with a countdown from Bruce Willis and Halle Berry. Other notable celebrities from Modern Family and many other movies & TV Shows were present. Two of our members even caught up with world famous singer and actress Brandy!
